The place was beautiful and clean. When I booked, I was already in town and the owners were quick sending all the instructions and preparing the room. Everything worked perfectly, the hot water, the spa tub… also, they gave a breakfast voucher with a very fair amount in a nice place. It couldn’t be better!
Nestled in an old grove of elm trees and rich foliage, these private luxury cottages are just steps from downtown Calistoga.

loved the cottages.. a little road noise behind cottage 5.. redundant pastries for breakfast multiple days in a row was a bummer... would have been nice to have a small table for two in the cottage, we like playing games and wasn't able to in our room with the current furniture layout..

Old Faithful was fun to see.
Old Faithful was fun to see. We also went to the Petrified Forest, which was amazing to see those trees. We had Thai food in town. Do a couples mud bath/massage at Doc Wilkinsons. Been in business for 70 years. And not to miss is Buster's BBQ. His hot sauce will literally bring tears to your eyes, in a good way. Cole slaw and potato salad were excellent too. We got beef ribs and tri tips. Super yummy.

We have been vacationing in Calistoga for over 30 years.
We have been vacationing in Calistoga for over 30 years. We have seen a lot of changes good and not so good ( prices at our favorite Spa doubled ) but none have kept us away. We found a few hotels with mineral water pools that are reasonably priced. It's a wonderful town, the people that live and work here are friendly and helpful. We have always felt safe in Calistoga. We always go to Soo Yuan Restaurant at least once a stay. We miss the mexican restaurant that was next to Cal Mart. Most of the time we get take home food from Cal Mart, it's always great . We nearly always walk to town, but if not, we have never had trouble finding parking - there are plenty of public parking lots and public restrooms.

Calistoga is a beautiful town with many hotels that have mineral water pools. Very easy to get around. Best restaurant in town is at The Calistoga Inn. I would avoid The Mount View Inn as it needs a lot of repair/remodeling (and I do like older historic buildings).
There are a lot of interesting shops, hiking, biking, etc.

Beautiful.
Beautiful. Our hotel was in walking distance of everything we needed and wanted. Amazing spa treatments. Delicious wine and food. Quaint shops great atmosphere, friendly people. Everything was spectacular.
We had a great stay at the motor lodge. The staff were so friendly and helpful, ready with recomendations and suggestions and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The decoration is modern and fun, and very comfortable. The lodge is a short walk from downtown Calistoga and in a very calm area so no disruption from external noises at any time. Lots of nice hikes close by and easy walk to some wineries! The restaurant is delicious and the facilities are great! Hope to enjoy more of the spa and pool next time
Very conveniently located close to Lincoln, the main street of Calistoga. Restaurants, coffee shops and other attractions within easy walking distance. However, the property is right on Highway 29 and our room was at the front of the property next to the highway. Thus, there was a lot of traffic noise. There are other rooms which might have been less noisy. The garden area was surprisingly large and many areas for semi-private enjoyment away from the traffic side of the property.
The place isn't posh but it is good value for what you get- cabins with kitchens and outside bbq, pool, and hot tub.
We were in Calistoga for Bottle Rock this year. It was really expensive near Napa. This place turned out to be perfect and it's right near town and some great wineries. The drive into Napa was easy.
It's in a neighborhood so it's quiet. The grounds have a pool, bbq, and many places to sit.
We thought this will be great to come back to another time.
Love Calistoga, a repeated favorite. Also, have positive past experiences with Mount View Hotel. Nice pool Good outdoor jacuzzi. Happy hour with free wine pours and DJ spinning vinyl with cushy sofas and gas fire rings by the pool very much appreciated. It helped that the fall weather on our visit was spectacular so we could go out at 8am, lie in the sun and soak in the jacuzzi and swim in the pool. No crowds yet plenty of activity for a weekday .
We stayed at several places around Napa, and this was by far our favorite. Granted, we got one of the nicer suites with the jacuzzi, balcony, and gas log fireplace -- you really want that tub in the winter, trust me -- but the whole property was just lovely. Quiet, very comfy bed, walking distance to everything in downtown Calistoga... we wish we could have stayed longer!
Absolutely immaculate room (room 11), very spacious and quiet. Great breakfast and staff were all friendly, the afternoon cookies were a nice touch too. Location to little town of Calistoga was great, just a short walk. We would have given 10 but the pool was out of bounds due to maintenance until we left. I would be back in a heartbeat.
Everything about this accommodation was right. Top highlights of the cozy space include a welcome bottle of wine, fresh baked goodies in the morning, hot tub, fire place, and stunning views. Location was also prime on the silverado trail. Lani is an excellent host who I recommend for anyone planning to visit Napa Valley.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated inn. The room was brilliant. Phone sanitiser, hair straighteners, and great toiletries were on offer. Shower room was spacious with powerful shower and heated toilet seat! Wouldn’t have thought this was necessary in Calistoga but we enjoyed the novelty.
Great environment, beautiful location and interior decor. Kept warm, very spacious. Homey and quaint. Even in downpour rain, it felt at home. Parking is close and covered. The treats and food and gifted wine were a welcome plus

The hotel is lovely if you're looking to relax for a couple of days in nature, enjoy some good wine, bask in the quiet, and indulge in quality service. The hotel's restaurant is superb, and the spa is quite enjoyable.
Good, clean, as expected. Fine internet too. Bonus spa bath although I didn't actually use it (bit too much water for just me). Decent stock in the complementary coffee/tea box too.
It was very clean and located within a short driving distance to downtown Calistoga. The fresh pastries and juice each morning was a nice touch. The cottage was cozy and welcoming.
Nice hotel in a great location, easy to walk to shops, bars and restaurants in Calistoga. Breakfast included which was OK. Large room. Good location to explore Napa valley.
Easy access to hotel & check in. Very clean and nice. Good for one person or a couple for a short trip. Location is great, a 10 min walk to most of downtown Calistoga.
Help staff at hotel registration was very nice, friendly, engaged, and made our trip more wonderful by giving us his opinion of other places to visit in Calistoga.
